

Jackie Robinson, 64, passed away Saturday, March 7, 2015 in Phoenix, AZ. Born June 21, 1950 in Port Clinton, OH. Jackie graduated from high school in Yuma, AZ. He served in the U.S. Navy two years. Jackie was employed at the Navy Finance Center in Cleveland, OH and then went on to become an Air Traffic Controller in Montgomery, AL. He was an active Christian. Jackie loved sports, especially baseball, softball and football.
Jackie is survived by his daughter, Veronica Long Chapman of Houston, TX; sons, Anthony Robinson of Plant City, FL and Brian Robinson of Coto de Caza, CA; brothers, Donald Robinson of Sandusky, OH, Ray Robinson of Rancho Cucamongo, CA, and Ricky Robinson of Phoenix, AZ; sisters, Joanne Franks of Glendale, AZ and Tanya Robinson of Las Vegas, NV; 3 grandchildren; 6 nephews; 6 nieces; and several cousins. He was preceded in death by his mother, Ernestine Robinson; and father, George Robinson.
Visitation will be at 9:00 a.m. with service at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 21, 2015 with Pastor Tyrone Jones officiating at Johnson Mortuary Chapel, 1415 S. 1st Avenue, Yuma. Final resting place will be at Desert Lawn Memorial Park.
Pallbearers: Raymond Robinson, Brian Robinson, Ricky Robinson, Arthur Franks, Kenny Jackson, and Ernest Churnn.
