Joanne was a member of Morningside Baptist Church until she moved to Emerald Springs Assisted Living community. She had spent several years as a teacher's aide and a bus driver for Yuma County School District 1. Joanne loved the outdoors and visiting family in Florida during the summers.
Joanne was preceded in death by her husband Harold A. LeBeau; her parents Ignatius and Marian Ales; and her brother William V. Ales. She is survived by her 3 daughters, Barbara (Rick) Dunbar of Florida, Janet (Michael) Ehrlich and Marian Ramos, both of Yuma; her grandchildren Alissa, Jennifer, Jon, April, Johnnie, Elizabeth, Jessica, Clarissa, Melissa and Joey; 13 great-grandchildren; her sister Rose (Calvin) Zongker of Florida, sister-in-law Patty Ales of Wisconsin, 3 nieces, and extended loving family and friends.
Per Joannes's wishes there will be a graveside service and burial at Desert Lawn Memorial Park on August 17, 2024, at 9:00 am. Friends are welcome to attend the graveside service.
