My nana loved life and knew how to live life. She would always ask her nietos o nietas to sneak in that extra slice of pie or soda for her that we all knew better not to give to her but we still did because she was our nana and couldn't say no to our nana. I will miss her contagious laugh, her big smile, seeing her put on lipstick and spraying on her perfume and in the same heartbeat tell me that I should wear lipstick and me telling her I'm not trying to impress anyone and her saying "ah pues tu sabes". Can't help but smile because she was always so quick. I'll miss her cooking and her belief that there's no such thing as eating the same thing the second day even if there was leftovers because only old people eat like that and we're not veijitos; her hands because her nails  were always polished; her energy and  for teaching me patience. I love you Nana Maria and am truly going to miss you.

Words can not begin to explain the pain she left in our hearts. The most difficult thing  is the hole we feel inside . We really loved her and always will. They say time heals all wounds, and the pain we feel inside will subside.   ,but learning how to live without her, will be  the most painful thing of all.
We will miss so many things about her, the way her  laugh made us laugh , her love for life. The way she always had a song for our babies. The way no matter how many times life took her down she smiled and tried to make people smile. We miss her so much and more every day, And Love her  so much more than words can ever say.
