Mary J. Delcid, age 87, of Yuma, Arizona passed away on Tuesday, July 27, 2021. Mary was born January 5, 1934 in Fabens, TX, and her family moved to Yuma, AZ when she was an infant. Mary was a wife, mother, and homemaker all of her adult years.
Mary is preceded in death by her husband, Robert, her daughter Diana Garcia, her two sons, Ray "Tex" Delcid and Christopher Delcid Sr., her brothers Leonard Gonzales and Felipe Gonzales, and her parents.
Mary is survived by her daughter, Susan Cruz of Yuma, AZ. She is also survived by her siblings, Manuel Gonzales of Fresno, CA, Raul Gonzales (Aurora) of Mesa, AZ, George Gonzales of Yuma, AZ, Ruben Gonzales (Rosalie) of Yuma, AZ, her sister-in-law Norma Gonzales of Yuma, AZ, daughter-in-law Barbara Delcid of Yuma, AZ, and her son-in-law Raul Garcia of Yuma, AZ.
Mary leaves behind 15 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
A visitation for Mary will be held on Monday, 9 August 2021, from 5:00 O'clock PM to 8:00 O'clock PM at Johnson Mortuary Chapel. Recitation of the Rosary will be at 7:00 O'clock PM.
A Funeral Mass for Mary will be on Tuesday, 10 August 2021, at 10:00 O'clock AM at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, with burial to follow at Desert Lawn Memorial Park.
