He immigrated to the United States, first with a bracero permit during World II to work on the railroad in California.
He also worked in Mexico on mercury mines for US companies and his last employment was a long stint in California in construction and part-time mechanic until his retirement.
He served as a deacon for the Spanish speaking congregation of the First Southern Baptist Church in El Monte, California for many years. He moved from California to Yuma, AZ in 2004.
He is survived by his wife, Carmen and children Moises, Omar, Juliette Seeton and Janet Moser and three grandchildren. He will be greatly missed and loved by his family and friends.
A service will be held in his honor at Johnson Mortuary on Thursday, October 6, 2011 at 1:00 PM.
