Petra is survived by her sons, Mario Alcaraz and Luis Ortega; daughters, Carmen Aguiar, Lorenza Garcia, Mary Helen Ortega, Angela Chavez and Yolanda Pinuelas all of Yuma; sister, Martha Pelayo of Holtville, CA; brother, Andres Gutierrez of El Rosario, Sinaloa, MX; 14 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She is preceded in death by her son, Feliciano Ortega.
Visitation will be held at Johnson Mortuary on November 1, 2011 between 4:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. Rosary at 7:00p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Thomas on November 2, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. Her final resting place will be Desert Lawn Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be Mario Alcaraz Sr., Mario Alcaraz Jr, Carlos Aguiar, Luis Ortega, Louie E. Aguiar Jr, Louis Sr., Steve Aguiar, Gilbert Pinuelas and Isaias Chavez Jr. Honorary pallbearers are Nietos and Bisnietos. Que Dios te Bendiga
