I miss you so much, but I thank God for that last week-end that we were able to spend together. It was at Ventura Harbor sitting on the bench watching the boats sail by and people walk by. Afterwards we went walking looking at the shops. I took a picture of you being silly. You then got us over to Yolanda's in Ventura where we had a nice dinner. It is a very precious memory. I Love You

I've known Ruben for over 40 years. 

He was a good natured man of few words. Slow to anger, loved his family, and, most of all, he had the biggest heart.  He was truly one of the finest examples of what a true friend , father and husband should be. We will all miss the love from the big heart of a great man that is Ruben Aguiar. Love you and miss you Ruben. God bless.

Ruben was a encouraging, loving, funny, and considerate brother in law. He loved life , his family , friends his children and mainly his wife. I will never forget the summers spending time with him as a kid. I got to jnow him and loved him more. You will never be forgotten in my heart.Thanks for my nickname  it has stuck with me all these years. I love it. Cricket

Uncle Ruben you were such a fun, happy, and gifted family man, not to mention an awesome uncle.  You inspired me as a kid to get into photography, and to this day it is still my passion, so I thank you. I remember you around our large family reunions with so many kids, and you always kept calm and were kind to us kids.  You would run around calling us Mija or Mijo trying to get us in line for a great family picture.  I am a stressed out mom and aunt now and when I am around all the many kids, I don't do so well at projecting that calm loving feeling to them, so I think you were pretty awesome in that area and I commend you on that. I have been wanting to see you and Aunt Belinda for some time now, and I was crushed to hear the sad news, and to know that we wouldn't get to catch up after all these years.  Im so sorry for your passing but I know you are in peace.  I love you Uncle Ruben.
