Our hearts are broken for Wilf’s family and all who loved him. To us, Wilf was the truest example of a gentleman—kind, gentle, and thoughtful in everything he did. He was a dear friend, but above all else, his greatest love was always his wife Audry,  children Apryl & Gibson, and his grandchildren. He spoke of you with such pride, and it was clear how deeply he cherished his family.
We will forever treasure the many special times we shared together—camping trips, laughter, and days spent at the family cabin at Calling Lake. Wilf’s friends will also smile remembering his legendary pool skills. In his younger days, he and his high school friends would head to the Regency Hotel, play pool, enjoy a few drinks, and almost always come home with money in their pockets because Wilf inevitably won.
Wilf also loved to cook, getting his start at Phil’s Pancake House, and he and his high school friends excelled at “Coffee 101” at the Gulf Wayfare Restaurant. In the early 80s, when Wilf lived with us, he was always willing to help, full of stories, and simply a joy to be around.
We hold Wilf’s memory close to our hearts and will remember him with deep love, gratitude, and fondness always.

I had the privilege of working with Mike at the food processing plant in Leduc.  I like to send condolences to his family, I am sure he is greatly missed. He will be remembered fondly.
