

William was a graduate of Yuma High School class of 1989 and was a member of the Marching Band. He had been employed as a Customer Service Representative with Spherion/APS. He was a member of the YBBL and the 8th Street Pool Team. He loved to play pool, softball, and the drums. He enjoyed listening to music, especially metal, and watching sports. He was a big family man who loved to spend time with his wife, children and granddaughter.
William is survived by his wife, Leticia of Mesa, AZ; daughter, Monica Cruz of Mesa; sons, Kenneth Moreno, Julian Moreno of Yuma and William Motter Jr., of Mesa; daughter, Ariana Motter of Mesa; granddaughter, Ymani Cruz of Mesa; sisters, Linda Moreno, Phyllis Wilbourn of Yuma, and Jacqueline Motter of Mesa; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
William was preceded in death by his parents, Leon W. and Gloria E. Motter; brother, Paul F. Motter.
A visitation will be held at Johnson Mortuary on Friday, October 15, 2010 from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Rosary will be at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at Immaculate Conception Church on Saturday, October 16, 2010 at 9:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Desert Lawn Memorial Park.

William R. Motter(1970-2010)
A wake for William R. Motter, of Yuma, will be 4 to 10 p.m. today at Johnson Mortuary Chapel, with rosary at 7 p.m. Mass will be 9 a.m. Saturday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Desert Lawn.
Born Aug. 20, 1970, in Yuma, he died Oct. 11, 2010, in Tempe. He was a customer service representative for Arizona Public Service.
