Deker was well known as the friendly giant, as he liked to watch over all the children who knew and loved him. He was very well known for his love of wrestling and cars; you wouldn’t see him without an action figure or hot wheels car in his hands. He loved asking people to “DO A BURNOUT”. Deker was loved by everyone who knew him, but the special bond between him and his mother was like no other, and now they have ventured in to their next life together.
Deker is survived by his father, Pat; brother, Jason (Jennifer); sister, Nicole; nieces, Jessica (Brad), Isabell; nephew, Justin (Shana); great-niece, Quincy; grandparents, Clifford and Gertrude Vidito and many aunts and uncles who loved him so very much.
As Deker would say, “Always say I love you before you leave.” So to the many family and friends he and his mom leave behind “I love you, have a nice day!”
Cremation has taken place under the care of Jayne’s Funeral Home, Digby.
A visitation will be held from 1-3 on Thursday, March 4, 2021 at Jayne’s Funeral Home, Digby, a graveside service and interment in Fairview cemetery to follow with Rev, Mark Cress officiating.
