Diane was born in Kitchener to Anne and Nicholas Kautesk. When Diane was a teen her Dad passed away and she was blessed with a wonderful step dad Robert Wells when her Mom remarried. Diane leaves a hole in the hearts of her husband of 57 years Ray, daughter Sandy, son David (Cathy) grandchildren Dan (Rosie), Tyler (Meggan), Connor and Cara. Beloved great-nan to Scarlet, Hadley and Dawson. Diane will be dearly missed by her sisters Donna (John), Linda (Calvin), Pat (Dave), Karen (Dennis), Wendy (Steve), Deb, and brother Robert (Terri); numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends. Diane wore many hats over the years - teller, bookeeper, motel owner, art gallery picture framer etc. To each job she gave her best and made many friends. On retirement Diane enjoyed spending time with family, sister lunches, working in the garden, exercise class and walking her dog. Diane's kindness, compassion and gentle nature will be missed by so many. Her loyal companion Piper will miss her cuddle time on the couch. Due to Covid-19 restrictions a private Memorial Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church on Friday, April 30, 2021 at 11a.m, which will be livestreamed. In lieu of flowers, Diane requests donations to St Vincent de Paul Brantford where she volunteered for many years.
