Hiroko Brashars was granted her angel wings on April 30th 2021. Born 15 March 1935 Japan where the beauty of the mountains and lands are unmatched. Tradition, order and obedience are the pillars of Japanese society. This was just the beginning of a very memorable life.
Hiroko’s life would be filled with travel. Starting in Japan where she met her husband Russell A who was in the U.S.Navy she would travel to California, Arkansas and finely settle in Corpus Christi, Texas. Where she would raise two children and then become Grandmother to seven granddaughters. Her mischievous smile, tiny finger and baby soft skin brought so much joy to the family.
Hiroko enjoyed traditional Japanese dance, listening to Elvis Presley and gardening. Hiroko had a green thumb along with some love and care was able to make plants blossom to their fullest. Much like her grandchildren who she would help color eggs and cook always reminding them to “Cook from the Heart“
Although she was tiny and frail, her spirt and courage knew no bounds. She would always tell you the size of a person is irrelevant for it’s the quality of their character that matters.
Hiroko is survived by her loving children Cynthia & Robert K and Russell & Evelyn B and her grandchildren Anna, Sara & Daniel G, Emily, Amanda & Michael M , Chelsea, Sicly and Anika.
