Fleeda Mae (McIntosh) Baker, age 82, of Carlisle, Ohio, went home to be with her Savior on April 30th, 2021. She was born January 1st, 1939 in Blue Diamond, Kentucky, to the late Arthur and Dora McIntosh.
Fleeda was a loyal member of Hillcrest Baptist Church since 1975. She will be remembered for her sense of humor, sweet personality, and devotion to her family. She was known for her floral arrangements, wedding planning, sewing, and crocheting.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband of 49 years, Darrel Baker; brothers, Elmer McIntosh and Eldon McIntosh; and sister, Omeda White.
Fleeda is survived by her children, Sharon (Ken) Flora, Doris Pelphrey, and Keith (Jo) Baker; grandchildren, Chris (Mindy) Flora, Kevin (Candace) Flora, Ashley (Rick) Howard, Kelli (Logan) Stalker, and Cassie Baker; great-grandchildren, Rylee, Ben, Millie, Zach, Coen, Annistyn, and Aelynn Flora, Colt Howard, and Charlotte Stalker; sisters, Nola (Lee) White, Bonnie McIntosh, and Stella Thornsberry; as well as many other family members and friends.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 5th, 2021 from 10am-12pm at Hillcrest Baptist Church in Carlisle, Ohio. A celebration of life will begin at 12pm, with Pastor Larry Lambes officiating. Burial will follow at Miami Valley Memorial Gardens in Centerville, Ohio.
