He accepted Christ at an early age. He went to Dunbar High School in Oakwood, Texas, worked at DCCAC Oak Cliff Community Center in Dallas, Texas for 10 years a Maintenance Engineer Recreation Assistant.
Junnie was preceded in death by his parents, Selina Carr and Murray Davis; grandparents, Viola and Henry Nixon; sisters, Vickie L. Hayes, Josephine Johnson, Jeraldine Baugh; brother, Eugene Johnson; and brother-in-law, Aubra O. Turner.
He leaves to mourn his children, Junnetta L. Carr, Kendrick A. Carr, Direshia R. Richmond, and Ronald Walker; sisters, Velma Johnson of Houston, Texas, Thelma Turner of Dallas, Texas, Lue Willie Fagan (Ottis) of Dallas, Texas, Bernice Kirby (Waymon) of Dallas, Texas; brother, Sammie Carr (Brenda) of Dallas, Texas; 10 grandkids; 5 great-grandkids; 3 stepchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
