Some of Raymond's hobbies included: The joy of learning and watching science, astronomy, history and technical course lectures on DVD's purchased from The Great Courses Faculty. Reading U.S. Air Force current events and technical information magazines, history and technical books, model car and airplane building and designing and building projects.
Accomplishments and Awards: Supervisor Avionics/Electrical installation, Research and engineering B-I Bomber. Outstanding achievement B-I Division, Rockwell International. National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Apollo Achievement Award. Raymond was also part of the United States Air Force Association and through his academic career he achieved his Bachelor of Science Mechanical Engineering Degree, World War II United States Army Air Force College Training, Airplane and B-24 Bomber courses for aerial engineers and Aerial Gunnery Combat Training.
A family only visitation for Raymond will be held Friday, July 16, 2021 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at Westminster Memorial Park Mortuary, 14801 Beach Blvd, Westminster, California 92683. A veteran's service will occur Friday, July 16, 2021 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, 14801 Beach Blvd, Westminster, California 92683. A final blessing and interment will occur Friday, July 16, 2021 from 1:15 PM to 2:00 PM, 14801 Beach Blvd, Westminster, California 92683. A reception will occur Friday, July 16, 2021 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
