Derek would like to let you know that effective August 1st his work here is done. He received a call with an offer he couldn’t refuse, it’s for an appointment from which he will not be returning. This assignment comes with a huge sign-on bonus, a reunion with family and friends he has not seen in a long time. Love and laughter are guaranteed. His new mission takes him to a wonderful place where he will be socializing, gardening and feeding the birds to his heart’s content.
We want to let him know that he did a great job here and wish him a safe journey. We insist that he take on his new assignment with no need to worry for those he leaves behind. We will remember his never ending love for family, his enormous pride for his kids and grandkids, his talent for carpentry, his enjoyment for teasing, puzzles and Clive Cussler, his sentimental heart, his warmth and charm and last but not least his ability to make people feel special. Up until the very end he worked hard and we thank him for making the world a better place.
