Bobby Jack Sellers, age 89, of Texarkana Texas passed away peacefully on August 30th, 2021. Mr. Sellers was born February 26, 1932 in Emerson Arkansas to William and Gertrude Sellers. Mr. Sellers served in the United States Army, where he served as a Staff Sergeant in the Korean War. He also was a longtime member of the VFW Post 2549 Otis Henry, also serving some of that time as Post Commander, he was a faithful member of South Texarkana United Methodist Church, he served on the board for the Cotton Belt Credit Union as well as Teachers Federal Credit Union and he was retired from GE Railcar.
Bobby was a loving Husband, Father, Grandfather, Brother, Uncle and Friend. He had a true servant’s heart. Mr. Sellers was preceded in death by his wife, Pauline Sellers, His Parents, William and Gertrude Sellers, Brothers, W.H. “Dub” Sellers, James Sellers, Sisters Jean Godfrey, Margaret Smart Forbes, Doris Godsey, Amelia Sellers and Mary Frances McCartney.
Survivors include his daughter, Terri Engledowl of Queen City, TX, Three Grandchildren, Jennifer Luckett and her husband Jeffrey of Bossier City, LA, Jason Engledowl and his wife Lacy of Atlanta, TX, Eric Engledowl of Queen City, TX, 11 Great Grandchildren, Colin, Bailey, Abby, Levi, Lexi, Abagail, Jasey, Sawyer, Zaine, Lucas and Amelia, one Brother, Nelson Sellers of Jonesville, LA, one Sister, Helen “Tiny” Mangum of Waldo, AR and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Bailey Anne--“My favorite memory with Papaw is, going out to his room to hangout in his rocking chair, play with his roll top desk and share his favorite hard candies, Werther's Originals!”
Sawyer—“My favorite memory with Papaw is the laughter we shared together!”
Funeral Services will be held at 10 AM Tuesday, September 7th, 2021 at East Funeral Home-Downtown with Mr. Jerry Black officiating. Graveside will follow at Chapelwood Memorial Gardens.
Because of ongoing health concerns the Family is asking that you do wear a fascial mask.
