Wayne met his wife of 34 years, Heather (nee Bouck) in Edmonton. Their two children, Jonathon (Jamie) and Emily were his greatest pride and joy. He will also be greatly missed by his sister-in-law, Lynn (Randy) LeDuc and brother-in-law, Wayne Bouck, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Wayne served for 28 years in the Canadian Armed Forces. The most memorable part of his career was serving with 435 Squadron in Edmonton as a Loadmaster on the C130 Hercules aircraft, where he accumulated over 3000 hours of flying time. He was a very humble and kind man, always being the first to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.
At this time, we would like to thank all the staff at Lisaard House for their amazing care and compassion during Wayne’s stay there.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Lisaard House or a charity of your choice.
In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place. Visitation and a Memorial Service will take place at the T. Little Funeral Home on Saturday, October 23rd. As space is limited for in person attendance, everyone is invited reserve a time to attend the Visitation between 12:30 pm - 1:30 pm via the Link under the "Donations" heading or to watch the service via the Livestream Link below.
