Bettie is survived by children: Steven (Christina), Michael, Aaron (Angela) Perdue, Joseph, and Katrina (Michael) Willson; grandchildren: Valerie (Jason), Amber (Anthony), Matthew, Megan, Justin, Rebecca, Kristin, Jenna, David, Shaine and Liam; great-grandchildren: Aliya, Khloe and Joseph; and several brothers and sisters.
Bettie loved family. Her happiest moments were when her family was gathered, and a baby was in her arms. She enjoyed preparing large meals, welcoming everyone who passed through her door and always making room at her table for more. She loved well and will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
Our family would especially like to thank Piedmont Christian Home and Hospice of the Piedmont for their loving care of our mom in her last months of life.
