Kay (Carol) Louise Becker, age 80, passed away in the presence of her family on Wednesday, September 4, 2019, at her home in Ontario Oregon. She was born on October 13, 1938, to Howard and Louise (Dugas) Kelly in Pocatello, Idaho. She attended Bethany Bible College where she met her husband, Jack Becker, who she later learned frequented the same corner bus stop as her in Portland, Oregon years earlier. Jack and Kay married on August 17, 1963 in Vancouver, Washington and later adopted two sons.
Kays was humble, modest, and elegant, but her character shined most through the unquestionable love she enjoyed showering on her family regardless of personal cost or gain. From sailing the San Juan’s to touring Idaho in a Corvette, she spent her life living dreams with her husband. During her personal time, she enjoyed painting and attending high school volleyball games with her best friend Lee.
She is survived by her devoted husband of 56 years Jack; sons Brad (Bev) and Brent (Shelley); grandchildren JB, Ruby, Stewart, Cody, Devin, Ana, and Jax; siblings Dick Kelly, Becky (Rob) Carnahan, John (Lori) Kelly, Cheryl Kelly, and Becky (Denny) Marvin.
A celebration service will be held on Saturday, September 14 at 11:00 am at Christian Life Fellowship, 366 SE 5th St., Ontario. Arrangements are under the direction of Shaffer-Jensen Memory Chapel, Payette. Condolences may be made to Kay’s family at www.shaffer-jensenchapel.com.
