Howard was born in Northampton, Pa on 12/07/1928. He is survived by his wife of 70 years Yoshika and his son Jim.
When WW2 called Howard answered and made a career of serving his country. He served for 29 years. Active in WW2, 3 tours in Korea, and Vietnam. He achieved the rank of Master Sargent, was a member of the Special Forces, and received many commendations including the Cold War Recognition Medal and the Bronze Star with valor.
After the service he remained active in his community. He received several awards for his unselfish dedication including the Florida Sheriffs Association Award.
In his spare time he liked saltwater fishing and had several hunting trips out west. But his most precious time was spent with the love of his life at home.
A Warrior, Hero, provider and most of all a loving husband, father and Uncle. He will be Missed and Forever in our Hearts!
Donations can be made to Good Shepard Hospice, Auburndale, Florida. Funeral service and burial will be at Florida National Cemetary on November 8th at 2PM
