Connie was born in Brewer, Maine and soon made her way to the West ending up in Newbury Park, California. She soon moved to Ventura and graduated from Ventura High School in 1959 meeting Robert Locey and soon married having two children, Tim (1961) and Tammy (1964). She worked at McDonalds early on and loved her friends and later became an office administrator for various firms.
Two wheels became a theme in her life. In the beginning trail riding in the dirt at Ballinger Canyon and then supporting her son Tim’s motocross career. Finally enjoying a Harley club with great friends.
Her love and work ethic for her family was her greatest legacy. Connie sacrificed for us all to make life more fun and enjoyable. She would exceed everyone’s expectations at Christmas with gifts for her family.
After retiring, she and Dad moved to Henderson, Nevada for 20 years enjoying the strip and her Boston Terriers. She recently moved back to Ventura County to be close to family again but unfortunately was diagnosed with Melanoma and cut her plans short of family fun.
Our family thanks my sister Tammy from the bottom of our hearts for the wonderful, difficult caretaking of mother towards the end. Connie was married 57 years and had 5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. She was 77 years old.
Rest in Peace
