Peacefully on November 11th, 2020 our mother, grandmother (nonna) and great-grandmother Anna passed away.
Predeceased by her beloved husband Domenico Zezza in 1991 as well as her brother Franco and her son in law Peter, this year.
To cherish her memory are her daughters Katia and Irene (Charles), her granddaughters Daniela (Brad) and Jane (John), her great-granddaughter Zahra, and her Michelini family in Toronto. She was greatly loved by all of her family.
Mom was a wonderful person with a loving heart, an amazing sense of humour and a real zest for life. Happiness surrounded her when she was sewing, cooking and especially gardening. The garden was her masterpiece and her house was a greenhouse to the samplings of all her seeds. She was the happiest when she was surrounded by her family and taking care of her husband and daughters was a priority. Mom felt “Nonna” was a special title, it was one she took very seriously, and she enjoyed every second spent with her granddaughters. Mom made sure she spent good quality time with each of them whether it was building a toboggan slide, playing Scopa cards, Monopoly or sewing a new outfit. Our family will forever miss her, she will never be forgotten.
Due to current circumstances there will not be a formal funeral service. A private family service has taken place.
We would like to thank the staff at Tuxedo Villa for their help during her residence, your great care of our mom is greatly appreciated. In lieu of flowers please donate to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
