Bernard Bazensky, better known to his family and friends as Bunny, was born in Baltimore Maryland. His is survived by a brother, Allen. Bunny spent many years in Baltimore and relocated to Florida, where he spent most of his adult life.
Bunny worked as a design engineer for Martin Marietta Corporation, a company primarily involved with aerospace equipment. He worked for 35 years, retiring in 1988. In 1985, Bunny started his own tax service business which he named Bee Square Tax Service. He expanded and ultimately sold that business to his other employees in 2016.
In 2018, Bunny and Rose moved to Raleigh to be closer to family for health reasons. Rose passed away in March, 2019. He survived the remainder of his life relying on family and friends. Two lifelong friends were Tommy Gosch and Jimbo Illick, whom he enjoyed conversing with up to his last day. His ultimate care and wishes were fulfilled by two nieces and a cousin, Kathy Weaver, Rhonda Barnes, and Nicole Smith. He loved each and appreciated everything they gave him, mostly their love and attention.
While we are all sad, we are rejoicing knowing he is much happier and with the love of his life, Rose.
