Dorothy (“Bubbles”) Quincy O’Regan (nee Gaddess), 92, passed away peacefully at her home on January 23, 2021. She was predeceased by her loving husband, William (“Bill”) V. O’Regan, Jr. She is survived by son William (“Billy”) V. O’Regan, III (his wife Joan Kenney O’Regan), daughter Sheila Louise O’Regan and son Andrew “Booter” Norris O’Regan. She is also survived by grandchildren (Cody, Willy, Catherine and Kara Louise) and great-grandchildren (Kara Beth and Kian).
She attended George Washington University and married her beloved husband “Bill” in August, 1949. She was the former owner of Craig Knit Studio in Silver Spring, MD. She later worked for many years at a knit shop in College Park, MD and at The Yarn Garden in Annapolis, MD until it closed. She was a Master Knitter and designer and continued to knit for family and friends up until her death.
In addition to knitting, she enjoyed travelling, attending theater, reading, and family and friends’ gatherings. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her, including her many loving Schnauzers.
There will be a private, family ceremony in Rangeley, ME at a later date.
