Ina grew up in Kisatchie, Louisiana with her 10 siblings and the piney woods was their playground. Born March 24, 1931, to James and Lillie Booty, she attended school in nearby Bellwood. She loved birds (especially hummingbirds), butterflies and tending a flower garden. She always taught her children the native wildflowers; velvet violets, jack-in-the-pulpits and dogwoods were special finds on nature walks in the woods. Her large, close-knit family loved to get together for Easter egg hunts and family reunions where the food was yummy homestyle Louisiana cooking and the company was always welcoming. She married William Calvin Trammel, Sr. on June 14, 1949 and they raised their family in Pasadena. The thing she cherished the most was visits from all of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and keeping up with all of their lives and news.
She is survived by her four children: Cindy and Barry Hess, Marcia and Scott Baker, William Calvin, Jr. (Sonny) and Kim Trammel, Patricia and Donald Akin. She loved her grandchildren: Andrew (Marcie), Melissa (Michael), Lori (Chad), Terri (J.P.), Laura, Stephanie, Molly and Spencer as well as her 13 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by three sisters.
