On Friday, July 16th, 2021, Nathaniel “Nate” Jellison, a son, brother, partner and friend, passed away unexpectedly at the young age of 31. Nathaniel will forever be remembered by everyone who had the privilege to know him. He is survived by his mother Kristin Roberts (Tom), his father Nathan Jellison, his grandma Bernice Avery, his brothers Robert Maxey, Michael Maxey (Kara), Kyle Wright (Amy), Austin Wright, Justin, his sister Olivia, and his soulmate of 10 years Maddie Slocum along with their pups, Samson and Squid. Nathaniel will also be forever remembered by his numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, his extended family and his dear friends.
Nathaniel went through a lot of diversity in his short 31 years but he always found a way to land on his feet. Nathaniel wore his heart on his sleeve and was always willing to help a friend in need. He had a way to make anyone smile and always made you laugh. He had such a positive outlook in any situation. Nathaniel had a big personality but an even bigger heart. Nathaniel has many friends and family that will hold their memories near and dear to their hearts. Nathaniel was a chef at Charlies and had a passion to cook. He worked alongside some of the people he loved the most, his dad, uncle, brother and best friends.
You Never Said Goodbye
You never said I’m leaving,
You never said goodbye,
You were gone before I knew it,
And only God knows why.
A million times I needed you,
A million times I cried,
If love alone could have saved you,
You never would have died.
In life I loved you dearly,
In death I love you still,
In my heart you hold a place,
That no one could ever fill.
It broke my heart to lose you,
But you didn’t go alone,
For a part of me went with you,
The day God took you home.
A celebration of life for Nathaniel will be held at Assembly of Yahweh. 1017 N. Gunnell Rd. Eaton Rapids, MI. 48827 on Sunday, July 25th, 2021 at 2:00pm.
