John Lee "Flash" Rush

Mr. Rush was born June 13, 1943 in Milner, son of the late William Marion “Red” and Lillie Mae McElroy Rush. He loved 4-wheeling, hunting, fishing, playing cards, shooting pool and spending time with his family. Mr. Rush loved having animals especially his dogs, Susie Q. and Chloe. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his grandson, Steven Morrison; brothers, Edward, Chuck, Marvin, Frank and Douglas Rush and sister, Betty Ann Rush.

Survivors include his wife, Glenda Ann Rush; daughters, Theresa Lynn Morrison of Griffin and Vicky & Chris “Tattoo” Thompson of Zebulon; sons, Kenneth “Keybo” Scott Rush of Covington and Eric Glen Cracknell of Waterford, MI; sisters, Norma Jean Fuller of Thomaston and Eva & Doug Norton of Thomaston; sister-in-law, Carol Rush of Reidsville, GA; best friend, Chuck Bronson; grandchildren, Jonathon & Lauren Rush of Griffin, Nichole Parks of Kalamazoo, MI; Christopher & Torae Parks of Zebulon, Zachery Parks of Zebulon, Daniel Thomas Morrison of Griffin and numerous other grandchildren; great-grandchildren, Maddoxx “Peanut” Parks, Ayden, Gage, Bella, Morgan, Joey, Chloe and Dylan. Numerous nieces, nephews & friends also survive.

A visitation for Mr. Rush will be held Friday, April 15, 2016 from 4 – 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
