Born April 8, 1930 to the late Alice and Howard Brames, Jean spent her youth in Cincinnati, Ohio. Her adult and family life was spent in Michigan, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, California, Connecticut and Florida.
Predeceased by her husband, James Maloney and son, Kevin Maloney, she will be lovingly remembered by her children, Kathleen Tebbe (Jim), Tim Maloney (Rita), six grandchildren, two great grandchildren, daughter-in- law, Rose Maloney, along with her children, Jacquelynn and Rachelle. Also predeceased by Margaret Faulhaber (sister) and Robert Brames (brother), she will be missed by siblings, Mary Duffy, Ann Brames, Thomas Brames, along with a large extended family of nieces and nephews.
Known best for her keen sense of humor and generosity, she loved her family, travel, spending time with friends, playing Bridge and Maj Jong and making people laugh.
There will be a Celebration of Jean’s life at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, October 6 at St. Paul of the Cross, 10970 Jack Nicklaus Drive, North Palm Beach, Florida.
In lieu of flowers, either Trustbridge of Palm Beach County or the Van Ministry at St. Paul of the Cross,
