Those left behind to cherish Helen's memories and carry on her legacy are her husband of almost 52 years, John Edward Patillo of the home; daughter: Michelle Patillo of Charlotte, North Carolina; Mark Patillo of Greensboro, North Carolina; three sisters: Ruth Lofton, Francis Skelton and Lola Elliott; two brothers: Clarence E. Foulks and Carl Foulks, Sr.; three grandchildren: Shaylah Patillo, Makaylah Patillo and Mark Patillo.
Helen was the daughter of the late Paul Edward Foulks, Sr and Viola Wallington Foulks. She was also preceded in death by five brothers: George Foulks, Raymond Foulks, Paul Foulks Jr., Joseph Edward Foulks and Clarence Wallington.
Graveside and committal will be held at 10:00 AM, Tuesday ~ February 4, 2020 in the Salisbury VA National Cemetery, Salisbury, North Carolina.
The family will receive guests from 11:00 AM ~ 12:00 PM, Monday ~ February 3, 2020 in State Room II of Carothers Funeral Home, 2205 Williamsburg Drive, Gastonia, North Carolina.
