Charlie is survived by his wife, Catherine Camilleri; daughter Nicole Camilleri; father James Camilleri; siblings Jesy Camilleri and Michael (Carol) Camilleri. Charlie was preceded in death by his mother Carmela Camilleri.
Charlie had an amazing sense of humor, even in his last days he was cracking jokes. He also loved children and dogs, always wanting to play or cuddle. While on the shy side, once he warmed up he was both loving and personable.
His favorite drink was a Black Russian. His cigarette of choice: a Marlboro menthol short. A lover of bowling, Charlie would throw the ball straight down the lane like a missile. During the day he could be caught watching the stock market or history channel, reading a sci-fi book (Tom Clancy or Star Trek were in the regular rotation), playing a computer game or listening to some classic rock. Some of his favorite foods included pastrami sandwiches from Lou’s Deli, Jet’s pizza, Doritos, ice cream and mortadella. Passionate about beautiful cars, he owned and maintained an award winning, fully original, 1980 TR8, as well as a 2017 Mustang GT 5.0.
He left this world with his loving wife, Cathy, and his beautiful daughter, Nicole, holding tightly to his hands. He will be missed by all, and for those lucky few that met him, cherished forever.
