It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Norman Gale Staley, 72, of Pierce, CO on May 30th. Norman is survived by his wife Debbie and children, Carol Roper, Louise Staley. His Brothers Wes Staley, Paul Staley, and sisters Martha Gallegos, Lala Smith.
Norman was born May 12, 1948 to James and Helen Staley in Fort Collins, CO. He graduated from Plourde High School in 1964. His life passion started at a young age when he worked on his parent’s farm, and so his own lifelong custom farming business began. Norman was always known for and could always be found wearing his John Deere hats and coveralls. Hard work came naturally, and he would be at it before the sun rose until dusk. One of his greatest joys was working the fields in his tractor with his trusty dog by his side. Even though he loved to joke and give people a hard time, he was a gentle and quiet soul, and would give anyone the shirt off his back.
Norman was known for his love for God and his dedication to the church. It is there that he met the love of his life, Debbie Inghram, and soon after they married on December 16, 1989. They were blessed with two daughters, Carol Roper, and Louise Staley. Norman was a great father and always made sure to provide for his children, who were the sparkle of his eye.
We invite all those that knew and loved Norman to join us in the remembrance of Norman. Please attend a Celebration of Life at 3904 Michaud Lane, Fort Collins, CO 80521.
