Early in the morning on November 14, 2020, Cliff left this life to meet his Lord and Savior face to face. He had devoted his life to faithfully serving God and the time had come to spend eternity in worship.
Being part of "The Greatest Generation," Cliff served his country in the Navy. His service was focused in the Eastern Mediterranean area. Following the war, he returned home and married the love of his life, Betty. They would share their love for each other for over 72 years. The family settled in Wyoming Park and three boys would be raised while Cliff worked for Steelcase, where he would eventually retire. His life involved many years of service to the Lord. He held numerous leadership roles in congregations in which he belonged, and participated in local jail ministries, youth camps, and retreat centers in Michigan and Florida as a volunteer. His Godly love for people was recognized by those he touched with love and compassion.
Cliff is survived by his wife, Betty; sons Cliff (wife, Diane), David, and Doug (wife, Bonnie). He was blessed with eight grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
Due to the present Covid restrictions, there will be a time of memory next spring.
