Bobby’s greatest past time activity was fishing, especially our annual fishing expedition. He would have everything ready, boat, gas, food, fishing rods, baits and enough food for a shore lunch. His utmost passion & volunteered tirelessly was the Emergency service field. In the early 80’s, Dr. Bob and others with the help of Sioux Narrows Paramedics, developed and serviced the community`s very first “First Response Team” which was a voluntary service. This is how he became to be known as Dr. Bob, with dedication, commitment and pride, Dr. Bob worked with community leaders to have our very own land based Emergency Medical Services, this was his greatest accomplishment and vision in Dr. Bob, having our own Paramedics for Naotkamegwanning First Nation and surrounding communities. He worked diligently with the community, while working 2 other jobs as a guide for Red Indian and Day Care custodian and later Night Security for Education until his retirement. As Dr. Bob retired, he currently was serving as a committee member for the Saa Sii Tonititwin Justice Program.
