Linda Ann Brown resident of Mobile, AL, passed away at her home on Friday, April 2, 2021. She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 28 years Jack Brown, parents, Henry and Nancy Spain and infant son, John.
Linda was employed and loved her job of 19 years at the Mobile County Sheriff’s Department. She was a conservationist, believing in protecting the world around her. She lived every day of her life to the fullest, taking nothing for granted. She loved swimming, which she learned to do late in life. Her family and friends will always remember her beautiful soul, and spirit.
She is survived by her loving family to include her children; Cynthia Anita Brown, James W. Brown and Lori Spain Powell. She is also survived by her brother, William Edward Spain, grandchildren; Christa, Megan, J.R., Jackson, Morgan, Brett and eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at Radney Funeral Home, Mobile, AL on Monday, April 5, 2021 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Graveside services will be held at Fellowship Baptist Church Cemetery, Meridian, MS on Tuesday, April 6, 2021 at 12 Noon. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be members of the Mobile County Sheriff’s Office.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the World Wildlife Fund.
