Although she left all of us too soon, her memories will live on through her greatest accomplishments- her beloved husband Winston Fear and greatest of all accomplishments, her beloved daughters Molly Rae and Rosie Suzonne Fear. Katy was a lifelong resident of Welsh and a graduate of Welsh High School where she excelled in academics and athletic, namely basketball, softball, and somehow tennis. She was currently enrolled at Sowela in the Business program. Katy loved her family time playing board games and puzzles with her family and any type of competition such as washers, fantasy football, coaching and anything else that consisted of competing.
She is survived by her childhood best friend and husband, Win Fear, her precious and cherished children, Molly Rae and Rosie Suzonne, her mother, Susan Mayes, her sister, Stephany Mayes Cormier, her precious nieces, Madalyn and Katelyn, and her beloved nephew, Will Green all of Welsh, LA. She is also survived by her "in-Love" in-laws, Rae and Kent Daigle and Jay and Terri Fear all of Welsh, LA and a host of family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Keith Mayes and brother Ryan Mayes.
Visitation Will be held at Hixson Funeral Home of Welsh on Friday May 14, 2021 from 4-8pm, with a Rosary to be prayed at 6pm. Visitation Will resume at the funeral home from 8am until the time of service. Funeral service will begin at 11am at the funeral home, with Father Alan Trouille and Monica Monk officiating. Burial will follow at Lacassine Cemetery in Lacassine, LA.
