Imogene C. Mauldin, 86, of Macon, GA. On Wednesday, May 26, 2021 Jesus reached down and took her by the hand and took her to her heavenly home. The family will greet friends on Saturday, May 29 from 1:00 pm until service time. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, May 29, 2021 at 2:00 pm at Snow’s Memorial Chapel-Pio Nono Ave. with Reverend Mark Goolsby officiating. Burial will be at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens immediately following the service. Due to COVID, all attendees are required to wear a mask and follow social distancing recommendations.
Mrs. Mauldin was born in Thomaston, GA to the late Gordon and Sara Birdsong Casteel. She was the widow of the late Curtis Glenn Mauldin, Sr. She was a graduate of Upson County High School. Mrs. Mauldin retired from Robins Air Force Base and was also a homemaker. She attended the Antioch Methodist Church. She was very supportive of the Antioch Methodist Church monthly breakfast. She was a member of the Tres Dias movement which endeavors to bring Christians to a closer, more personal walk with the Lord, Jesus Christ, and to encourage them to Christian leadership and apostolic action in their environments. Mrs. Mauldin was a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend.
Mrs. Mauldin is survived by her children, Debra Gardner, Glenda Tucker (Bruce), Glenn Mauldin, Steven Mauldin (Sherry), and Sonya Howard (Rick); eleven grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; brother, Tyrone Casteel (LaVelle); a sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Jimmy and Geraldine Knight; several nieces, nephews, cousins; and a host of friends.
