Born May 06, 1938 in Peoria to Robert Blanch and Rose (Marsh) Gold, he married Shelby Blanch on February 16, 1957. She passed away in May 1999. He was also preceded in death by his parents; one son, Kenny Blanch; one great-grandchild, Ashton and three daughters-in-law, Dee, Diane and Bev Blanch.
Surviving are four sons, Terry (Carol) Blanch, Ronny Blanch, Kim Blanch and Jeff (Debbie) Blanch all of East Peoria; two daughters, Jennifer Blanch of East Peoria and Monica (David) Drake of Portland, Texas; 16 grandchildren, Melody, Holly, Amy, Melissa, Michael, Buddy, Rachael, Amanda, Justin, Brooke, Tiffany, Timothy, Brian, Brayden, Brody and Shelby; 30 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
Bud was a veteran of the United States Army.
He worked as a foundry worker and laborer at Brass Foundry Co. for many years. In his earlier years Bud was an avid bowler, later in life he enjoyed playing bingo. He also enjoyed fishing and had a talent for repairing early televisions. Most of all he loved to spend time with his family.
A private celebration of life will be held at a later date. There will be no services at this time. Cremation has been accorded by Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Creve Coeur.
