Ray's career as an engineer in broadcast television fed a lifelong curiosity of all things mechanical and a hobby as a talented woodworker. A gifted writer, he was infamous in the family for his dozens of letters to the editor. His fondness for malted milk balls dated back many, many decades. Ray and Jeanne enjoyed traveling to Europe and developed a special love for Spain, which influenced their lives in numerous ways. Ray was a Navy Veteran and proudly served our county during WWII. A private family memorial is planned for later this month.
