Dwight Graham Lane Jr. of Fort Worth, TX passed away on January 22, 2018 in Fort Worth, TX. He will always be remembered as a loving husband, father, papa, brother and friend to all that knew and loved him. He was born on July 27, 1950 in Broken Arrow, OK to Dwight Lane Sr. and Bonnie Belle Collins.
Dwight became a blessing to all who met him. He graduated from Grapevine High School in 1968 and then attended Ranger Junior College on a basketball scholarship. He became a masonry contractor, eventually owning his own business. He loved to fish, golf, and spend time with his family.
Dwight is survived by his wife of 48 years, Darlene Lane of Fort Worth, TX, his son David Lane and his wife Tracy of Saginaw, daughter Dasa Bradshaw and her husband Bill of Haltom City. His two granddaughters Shalyn Lane and Erica Bradshaw. He has a sister Mollie Debandt, her husband Jeff of Troy, MI and a brother Larry Lane, his wife Elaine of Grapevine, TX along with his mother and father-in-law, Jim and Doris Rhine, numerous brothers and sisters-in-law and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Dwight Lane Sr., mother Bonnie Belle Collins, nephews Mark Lane and Brian Lane.
The visitation will be held from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Friday, January 26, 2018 at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home. The funeral services will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, January 27, 2018 at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park.
