Richmond “Rich/Bumpy” Eli Pouncey, III, Retired Naval Intelligence Commander and Forester, Farmer and Grits Connoisseur of Tallahassee, Florida, passed away at the age of 80 at his home in Tallahassee, Florida on November 11, 2019.
Rich is a graduate of the University of Georgia. He retired from the Navy after 26 years of service and also retired from his foresting company of more than 30 years, Longleaf Foresters. Rich is predeceased by his son Scott and survived by his wife, Maria, son, Carlos, daughter, Kathryn (Gonzalo), and his grandchildren, Joshua, Isa, and Lili, who all miss him greatly.
