Olga Isabel Cuellar, age 53, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 11, 2020 at The Credit Valley Hospital due to a very aggressive type of brain cancer (Glioblastoma) in company of her husband and two children. She was born in Bogota, Colombia on April 6, 1966 to Maria Vanegas and Jose Cuellar. She married the love of her life Guillermo Sierra on July 23, 1993.
Olga was a very caring and dedicated mother and wife. She was extremely proud of her two kids and the family she built with her husband. She had a very vivacious personally, she was always smiling, laughing and was loved and appreciated by everyone she knew.
Olga loved people, she had a passion for serving, helping and sharing with others. She was always willing to give, especially food, smiles and hugs. Those who knew her very closely, know she enjoyed cooking for family or friends at every gathering. She took pleasure in trying knew recipes and even creating her own.
Her life is a living example of her favourite bible verse:
Joshua 1:9
“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous.
Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged,
for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”
Olga will be sorely missed and survived by her husband Guillermo, her two children Edson and Yorlady, as well as her mother Maria, her five younger siblings Jose, Nubia, Luis, Alvaro and Cecilia, and her many nephews and nieces.
All whom loved her deeply will never forget her strength, tenacity, positive attitude, and willingness to smile even in the most difficult of times.

Memorial donations will be given on her behalf to the Brain Tumor Foundation of Canada.

Acompañada de su esposo y sus dos hijos, Olga Isabel Cuéllar, de 53 años, falleció serenamente el pasado martes 11 de febrero de 2020 en el Hospital Credit Valley debido a un tipo muy severo de cáncer cerebral. Olga nació en Bogotá, Colombia, el 6 de abril de 1966, hija de María Vanegas y José Cuéllar. Se casó con el amor de su vida Guillermo Sierra el 23 de Julio de 1993.
Olga era una madre y esposa muy atenta y dedicada. Vivía extremadamente orgullosa de sus hijos y del hogar que forjó con su esposo. Tenía una personalidad muy vivaz, estaba siempre riendo y sonriente, y era amada y apreciada por todos los que la conocían.
Olga amaba a la gente, le apasionaba servir, ayudar y compartir con los demás. Estaba siempre dispuesta a dar, especialmente comida, sonrisas y abrazos. Aquellos que la conocieron muy de cerca, saben que disfrutaba cocinar para familiares y amigos en cada reunión. Le gustaba probar recetas conocidas e incluso crear las suyas propias.
Su vida es un ejemplo vivo de su versículo bíblico favorito:
Josué 1:9
“¿No te he mandado? Se fuerte y valiente.
No tengas miedo; no te desanimes, porque el Señor tu Dios
estará contigo dondequiera que vayas"
Olga será siempre extrañada profundamente por todos los que le sobreviven: su esposo Guillermo, sus hijos Edson y Yorlady, así como por su madre María, sus cinco hermanos menores José, Nubia, Luis, Álvaro y Cecilia, y sus muchos sobrinos y sobrinas.
Todos los que la amaron profundamente nunca olvidarán su fuerza, tenacidad, actitud positiva y disposición a sonreír incluso en los momentos más difíciles.
