Anna was born on April 6, 1927 in Bloomfield Township in Missaukee County. She grew up on the family farm and became quite handy at herding the free-range cattle for milking and bailing spruce boughs. She graduated from Manton High School in 1946 and married Floyd Newmarch on February 11, 1956.
Floyd split his time between running the family farm and working as a truck driver, the latter of which would take him away from home often leaving Anna to tend to the children, the livestock and the farm. Being no stranger to hard work, Anna took on these responsibilities while maintaining her playful sense of humor and loving demeanor.
Anna enjoyed people and animals alike. She would watch the birds gather around her many feeders, always enjoyed the company of a K-9 companion and would rather be outside than anywhere indoors. She was a kind and generous woman, loved by all who knew her.
Anna had two daughters, Debera (Ed) Short and Barbara (Thomas) Ringlein; three grandchildren, Jonathan (Jessica), Joseph and Jacquelyn Ringlein; and two great-grandchildren, Jayden and Grayson. Her sisters, Dorothy Bever and Mary Hendges also survive her. She mourned the loss of her siblings, Matilda Ely, Fred Fritz, Rita Gauld, Ed Fritz and her husband, Floyd, who passed away in 1986.
Anna will be interred privately alongside Floyd at Evergreen Cemetery in Paradise Township. A memorial service will be scheduled for a date in the summer when it is considered safe for people to gather again. You may click "Receive Notifications" below to be contacted when services are scheduled.
