Thomas Ellis Lartigue, of Austin, TX went to be with his Lord on August 30, 2020 at the age of 57. He was born on October 27, 1962 to Arthur Lartigue, Sr. & Carmen Lartigue in Houston, TX. He was a graduate of Aldine H.S. and Sam Houston State University. Working as an accountant, he worked within various firms in that capacity.
Thom never married but raised two of his nephews. He adopted David A. Lartigue at age 14. He began caring for Robert Lartigue at age 12. Thom was a caregiver of his parents and after the death of his Father, continued to care for his loving Mom. Thom served the Lord faithfully, teaching Youth in his church and also serving as Audio Technician for the Met and Jersey Village Baptist Church in Austin, TX.
Thom was preceded in rest by his father, Arthur G. Lartigue, Sr. and his sister, Mary Stark. He is survived by his mother, Carmen Lartigue of Austin, TX; his son, David Lartigue of Austin, TX; his nephew, Robert Lartigue of Tomball, TX; his sister, Rosie Sumaruk and husband Siegi of Tusla, OK; Arthur Lartigue, Jr. and wife Patricia of Alvin, TX, Emilio Lartigue and wife Carol of Jenks, OK, Larry Lartigue and wife Candy of Spring, TX, Daniel Diego and wife Helen of Elk Grove, CA, Ruben Lartigue of Surfside, TX, Richard Lartigue and wife Molly of Surfside, TX.; and numerous nieces and nephews as well as other extended family and a lifetime of friends.
