Norman Felix Lestage

Norman Lestage, 80 of Jonesboro passed away April 30. 2021. He was born on May 19, 1940 in New Bedford, Massachusetts to the late Arthur and Yvonne Lestage. Norman was also preceded in death by his brother, Maurice Lestage and his sister, Estelle Lestage. He was a proud United States Marine Corps Veteran and of the Catholic Faith. He enjoyed woodworking and confederate reenactments and liked watching baseball, playing football and he was in the marching band. Norman worked at Continental Can Company as a fork lift driver and he also worked on the line. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Betty, daughters, Linda Lestage of Jonesboro, Cynthia Lestage of Morrow and Michell Lestage of Conley. Grandchildren, Tasha (Stephen) Bell of Marietta, Seth (Janet) Lestage of Knoxville, TN, Alonzo Lestage of Hampton, GA and Thomas Longcoy of Conley, GA. Graveside services for Mr. Lestage will be held at 2:00pm on Monday, May, 3, 2021 at Eastlawn Memorial Park in McDonough, Georgia.
