Faye Avera Caldwell, 88, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, June 12, 2021. A Celebration of Her Life will be held on Wednesday, June 16, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Snow’s Memorial Chapel- Pio Nono. Burial will be at Rose Hill Cemetery with Pastor Ed Chambliss officiating. The family will greet friends on Tuesday, June 15, 2021 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Faye was born in Macon, Georgia to the late Charles H. and Myrtice Gibson Avera. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence A. Caldwell. Faye was a graduate of A. L. Miller and was retired from Dillard Paper Company as a secretary. She was a member of Mikado Baptist Church where she served as commander of the AWANA program. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.
She is survived by her children, Traci King, Keith A. Caldwell, Scott A. Caldwell; eight grandchildren, Steven (Jennifer) Garrett, Summer (Jason) Turner, Brett (Shannon) Garrett, Brandi Seymour, Kris, Chad, Chase, Avree Caldwell; seven great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
