Age 96, passed peacefully into the Lords hands on Monday, Jananuary 29, 2008 with her daughters and her grandchildren by her side. She was born in St. Paul MN on June of 1911 to Carl and Thora Holmgren. At 9 months old, Theora's birth mother passed away and she was given up for adoption to Tony and Mary Prellwitz at the age of two. In 1941, she moved to Seattle for work, where she has resided for 67 years. She worked for Pacific Northwest Bell for 34 years as a Ship to Shore Operator and was on the Alaska board of Long Distance before direct dial in Alaska. She retired in 1976. She was, also, one of the First 100 Members of the Wallingford Senior Center. During her life, she successfully battled two bouts of Breast Cancer. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Karen Smith. She is survived by her two daughters, Bonnie Buhl and Diane Arnold Gans and many numerous loving grand, great grand, great-great grand children, extended family, and friends. The love you gave us will never be forgotten. A celebration of her life will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints 5701 8th Ave NE Seattle 98105 on February 23, 2008 at 12:30PM.
