WYLAND, RAYMOND CARL, Age 91, of Clearwater, Florida died on Thursday, June 10, 2021 at the East Bay Rehabilitation & Nursing Center. He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Josie Wyland, and his half-brother, William (Bill) Illgen and sister-in-law, Winifred (Winnie) Illgen. He retired as a Command Chief Master Sergeant from the United States Air Force. He retired after 30 years of service and his proudest career accomplishment was being named Senior Enlisted Advisor for the 26th TAC RECOP. WG at Zweibrucken AFB. Ray was a decorated veteran of the Korean and Vietnam wars with two Meritorious Sevice Medals, six Commendation Medals and many others. After his retirement from the Air Force, Ray worked 13 years for the City of Clearwater as a Zoning Enforcement Officer and Plan Review Technician. He is survived by his wife, Eveline of Clearwater, Florida, daughter, Andrea of Riverview, FL, son Kurt (Jill) of Wellington, FL, grandchildren, Nikolas (Vanessa), Carson and Cassidy. Ray was a member of the Clearwater Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
