She was born in Bretanha, St. Michael, Azores on November 29, 1930. She was the daughter of the late to Manuel and Diamantina (Fernandes) Medeiros.
She immigrated to the United States, settling in Fall River in 1960 where she raised her family. Angela had been a seamstress and a sewing machine operator for many years, before her retirement in 1993.
She was a member of the Holy Ghost Society and the Holy Rosary Society of
the Espirito Santo Parish, Fall River, Massachusetts, communicant of St. Cecilia Catholic Church, Clearwater, Florida and Espirito Santo. She was an avid gardener, and loved spending time with her family.
She is survived by her four sons and partners, George Luciano and Terrie Medeiros, Carlos Luciano, Tobias Luciano and Lauri Peel Locke, Michael Luciano and David Weaver; grandmother of Karen, Stephanie, Christopher, Jamie, Jessica, Jason and the late Lindsey Luciano; seven great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings, Balbinna, Maria, Manuel, John, and Tobias.
Her visitation will be held on Friday, June 18, 2021 from 5:00 to 7:00PM in the Waring Sullivan Home at Cherry Place, 178 Winter St., Fall River, Massachusetts. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, June 19, 2021 at 10:00AM in Espirito Santo Church, 311 Alden Street, Fall River, Massachusetts followed by her burial in Notre Dame Cemetery, Fall River Massachusetts.
