

Barrie was born in North Vancouver to Ernest and Dorothy Tennant.
He spent the better part of his adult life residing and working in Chilliwack and Abbotsford. His long-time position was a salesperson in the automotive industry. Barrie was well respected for being an excellent salesperson, and many of his clients and co-workers became life-long friends.
Barrie is predeceased by his parents, Ernest and Dorothy Tennant, and his brother Toby Wayne Tennant (Pat). Barrie is survived by his children Troy (Helga), Alecia (Bailey), Carly and his two granddaughters whom he adored, Elaena and Eva. His brother Aubrey Tennant along with his children, Jody, Holly, Jana and Aubrey Jr., and their children. Barrie loved his family and tried to spend as much time with them as possible.
Barrie had a kind heart, a charismatic spirit and because of this it was easy for him to build friendships with the people he met. He will also be remembered for his desire to help people, his overflowing love for life, and especially his love and commitment to his Lord and Saviour. You may have seen him at Christmas time in front of a store, ringing the bell for the Salvation Army Organization.
There will be a service held on Wednesday, December 7 at 1:00 o’clock at the Salvation Army Church, 35190 Delair Road, Abbotsford, BC
